Drop shot fishing is a very effective method for many prized angling species. Drop shotting simply means that you can fish small lures at great depths, maintaining a position within the ‘strike zone’. Drop shotting itself includes many subtleties that, when mastered, will greatly excel your results and take you to the next level. At Delalande we have recognized the value of this infallible technique in converting lazy predators into trophy fish; hence the creation of the Drop Shad!

Though the Drop Shad was especially made for drop shotting, it is also exceptional for finesse fishing techniques. The three tightened segments near the tail end of the lure, combined with the thin tail, provide high-amplitude vibrations.

Drop shot leads are available in an elongated shape for use in heavily vegetated waters and a traditional round shape.
